Would be fun to meet up somewhere! Like the bit about "snowy mountains, wilderness, lakes and much, much more for the trip of a lifetime!", but have to say that you may be guilty of overselling here a tad. I could see Scafell Pike (highest point in England) from the rugby field when I was at school and I assure you that there isn't much snow on our "mountains" in August (indeed to call them "mountains" is a mild exaggeration - even the local only call them "fells")! Also - unless you are going to go north of the border - our wildernesses aren't that, well, wild really. Especially compared to yours. Our largest carnivorous animal is the fox - bit disappointing if you are used to brown bears. And heads of Dartmoor ponies just don't have the same impact as buffalo. OTOH you failed to mention one of the more important things - the beer. A few pints of Old Peculiar will more than make up for any disappointment about the lack of snow, miles of virgin forest, impressive wildlife, or - indeed - any US win over England ;) Ay up, lass – does that mean that you’ll be coming over here yourself?
