We boast several USA Women’s National Team pool players, USA U23 Women’s National Team players, and MARFU and EPRU select side players. PWRFC aims to support all levels of play and aspirations and is searching for coaches to support these goals.

Rugby Coach with New Zealand Background Seeking Coaching Position in the US – Jason Liddle

Hi Wendy,

What an amazing New Zealand adventure, I spent the last 8 months in New Zealand up skilling myself in the latest modern coaching techniques. I graduated from the International Rugby Academy (I.R.A.N.Z.) in Palmerston North completing the High Performance Coaches’ course conducted by former All Blacks. After the course I was invited by Wayne “Buck” Shelford former All Black captain to attend his club training session in Auckland, he then introduced me to Liam Barry former All Black and forwards coach for the Auckland Blues, (Super 14) I spent a week with him getting an insight on how a professional team trains.

While on the High Performance Coaches course I befriend many of the participates and facilitators like Peter Thorburn former All Black selector and former U.S.A. Eagles coach, Sale Shark and Worcester Warriors Academy Managers and coaches from around New Zealand and the world. We have developed a knowledge-sharing network. I have learnt a great deal, it was wonderful experience.

I am very interested in returning to the U.S. to coach however my previous stay was on a tourist visa which had strict limitation on working and length of stay. If there is a club anywhere within the U.S. that would be interested in hiring a full time coach this would be a step in the right direction to getting a more permanent visa status.

Could you please pass on my C.V. to anyone who may be interested. You can access his C.V. here.

Regards,
Jason Liddle

Cheatham County Central High School (CCRFC) Girls Announce Coach Search – Tennessee Rugby

from my inbox:

Thank you some much for your response. I coached the girls in their first year last year but now am not able to coach full time. They are apart of the Middle TN rugby conference and are located at Cheatham County Central High School. They are a great bunch of girls that love the sport and I hate to see them lose this. For many of them, rugby is the only positive thing they are a part of.

This is their website: http://cheathamcentralrugby.webs.com

If you are interesting in coaching this girls HS team please email YSC at wendy@scrumhalfconnection.com so I can pass on their contact information.
